I am an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Microbiology & Immunology at Columbia University. My clinical specialty is pediatric infectious diseases, and my laboratory investigates the pathogenesis of infectious diseases. Our focus is on the complex interplay between colonizing bacteria and human hosts. I am also the Section Editor for Infectious Diseases at PLoS ONE.
